2012 (Senior)
Staten returned for his final season with the Pirates and finished second with six goals and 14 points. His .353 shot on goal percentage was second best on the team as he tallied two assists as well. He recorded two games with two goals first in a win over UT-Dallas on Sept. 8 and again on Oct. 14 he earned the only goals in a 2-0 shutout of Austin College. Staten also earned SCAC Academic Honor Roll honors for his hard work in the classroom.
2010 (Junior)
Staten was the only Pirate to start every contest this season. He scored three goals, one game winner, with two assists for eight points, tying him for fifth on the team. He took 26 shots, 10 on goal for a .385 shots on goal percentage and scored his one attempted penalty kick. Staten was named as SCAC Offensive Player-of-the-Week for the week of October 4-10.
2009 (Sophomore)
Played in 11 games on the season...took 5 shots, 2 on goal, for a .400 shots on goal percentage.
2008 (First-year)
Appeared in two games in his first season with the Pirates.

Staten was a two time First Team All-District selection for the Wildcats at Temple HS.

Ryan is the son of Thom and Donna Staten...is majoring in physics with minors in math and French.
